Christine Stickney, Director, Planning and Community Development Phone: 781-794-8230 The Braintree Historical Commission (BHC) is established in accordance with provisions of Chapter 40; Section 8D of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with all the powers and duties of a Historic District Commission in accordance with Chapter 40C of the General Laws of the Commonwealth. The Historical Commission retains responsibilities and jurisdiction over the Braintree Town Center Historic District in accordance with Chapter 12.12 of Braintree ordinance as most recently amended.
