During the remainder of this holiday week, Town Hall will be open on Wednesday from 8:30am to 4:30pm and on Thursday from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Town Hall will be closed on Friday, January 1st, 2021 New Year’s Day. The Town of Braintree is collecting gift card donations for the Braintree Family who lost their home in a fire on Christmas Day. Gift Cards can be left in the Tax Collectors drop box located outside of Town Hall. There will be no curbside trash and recycling pick up on Friday January 1st New Year’s Day. Instead your trash and recycling will be picked up the following day on Saturday January 2nd. The trash and recycling drop off center will be open from 7am to 12:00pm on Thursday, December 31st, will be closed on January 1st New Years Day. It will reopen on Saturday, January 2nd from 7:15am to 2:45pm. All residents can leave three additional trash bags outside of your trash cart for collection. We will be collecting three additional trash bags on your collection day until Friday, January 9th. Additionally, we will only be collecting Christmas trees during the weeks of January 4th and January 11th, please remove all decorations. The leaf compost site will be open from 7:15am to 12:00pm on December 31st and will be closed on January 1st New Year’s Day. The leaf compost site will reopen on Saturday January 2nd and Sunday January 3rd from 7:15am to 2:45pm.
