As we approach Martin Luther King Jr. Day, let us reflect on the values of equality, justice, and unity that Dr. King stood for. Let's continue working towards building a more inclusive and compassionate society, that promotes diversity, understanding, and inspires positive change.
In observance of this significant day, our community will come together to commemorate his legacy by honoring one of our own, Ms. Heidi Hurley, a Veteran, and long-time Art Educator.
Ms. Hurley will be recognized for her tremendous contribution to Braintree as the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Citizen of the Year Award!
Join us at Town Hall on Thursday, January 18th at 6:30PM to honor Ms. Heidi Hurley with a special ceremony. The Braintree High School choir will offer musical selections and we will welcome remarks from two special guests. Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the ceremony. The public is invited to attend!
