Meetings related to Accessibility at the MBTA
 
Public Meeting Green Line B Branch Accessibility Upgrades
 As part of MBTA Capital Programs & Engineering, Integrated Transit Programs (formerly the Green, Red, and Orange Line Transformation programs) will enhance service and expedite renovations on the Green Line B, C, D, and E branches over the next 10+ years.
 
 This initiative will improve the reliability and quality of service for riders and communities along the Green Line. In addition to significant enhancements to stations and accessibility, the program will integrate a new fleet of modern vehicles and increase the ridership capacity.
 This particular meeting will include information on planned accessibility upgrades at Packard’s Corner, Chiswick, Sutherland, Chestnut Hill Ave. and South Street stations.

Riders' Transportation Access Group (RTAG) General Meeting
 

• Date: Thursday, March 28, 2024
• Time: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
• Location: Via Zoom 

The Riders' Transportation Access Group (RTAG) is a customer organization with a mission to advise the MBTA on transportation issues that affect people with disabilities and older adults. Please join us for our upcoming general meeting.
 
 All RTAG meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and limited English proficiency. Real-time captioning (CART) and an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be provided for this meeting. Other accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge upon request, as available.

Disability Connections: A Networking Event for the Massachusetts Disability Community
 
 Join the Massachusetts Office on Disability (MOD) for Disability Connections, a networking event for the Massachusetts disability community. Hear about MOD's latest work promoting accessibility across the Commonwealth, and connect with leaders from local and state government, nonprofit disability services, advocacy groups, and all who make up the vibrant Massachusetts disability community.
 
 We are thrilled to share that, at this year's event, the plaintiffs from the Daniels-Finegold v. settlement agreement will be recognized for their advocacy, which has transformed the MBTA.
