In anticipation of the extremely hot weather today, June 7th the Braintree Town Hall Cahill Auditorium and the Braintree Department of Elder Affairs building have been designated as cooling centers.
Today’s temperatures are expected to reach into the 90s and Mayor Kokoros invites any resident in need to utilize the designated Town buildings as a shelter from the heat and humidity.
The Braintree Town Hall and Elder Affairs building will be open as cooling centers from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
