[ARCHIVED] Mayor Kokoros Announces Booster Clinic, Gardeners' Guild Plant Sale and Blood Drive

The Braintree Health Department will be holding a 2nd booster vaccination clinic tomorrow, Thursday, May 5th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm or until all vaccines have been administered. The clinic will be held at Town Hall in Cahill Auditorium. The 2nd booster dose is for residents 50 years of age and older and immunocompromised individuals 18 years of age and older.

Residents are requested to bring their COVID-19 vaccination cards and their health insurance cards. In order to receive the 2nd booster vaccination, individuals must have received their first COVID-19 booster vaccination by January 5th, 2022.  We have a limited supply of vaccine, and the vaccinations will be administered on a first-come first-served basis. 

Additionally, on Saturday, May 7th there will be a blood drive in memory of Lucas Flint. The blood drive will be held at Town Hall in Cahill Auditorium from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. To donate please register at redcross.org. 

Lastly, the Gardener’s Guild are holding a plant sale on Saturday, May 7th. The plant sale will take place outside of Town Hall from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
