Mayor Kokoros is pleased to announce in partnership with the East Braintree Civic Association and the Braintree Recreation Department the town will be hosting a Block Party at Watson Park, located on Gordon Road, this Sunday, September 25th from 1pm-4pm. Residents of all ages are welcome to attend this fun and free family friendly event!
Activities will include music, bouncy houses and inflatable games. Free refreshments, including hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks and water will be available for all attendees.
On Saturday, September 24th the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Farmer’s Market features locally grown fruits, vegetables, gourmet baked goods, live music and much more. Additionally, the Braintree Artisan, Craft and Vendor Market has their only September market this Saturday, September 24th from 11 am to 3 pm outdoors at 74 Pond St. The market will have over 30 artisans, crafters and vendors including a food truck and kids game area.
