The MBTA is seeking public comment on proposed changes to our Disparate Impact and Disproportionate Burden (DI/DB) Policy and Public Engagement Plan (PEP). These policies are part of our compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits the MBTA from discriminating on the basis of race, color, or national origin, including limited English proficiency. Thus far, three public meetings on the Proposed Title VI Policy changes has been held. Our hybrid meeting recording along with the presentation can be found on our event page here.
