The department employs nearly summer, seasonal employees with hiring preference given first to current college age applicants and high school graduating seniors before high school underclassmen are considered. Applications are available online and in the recreation office starting November 1 each Fall for the ensuing summer. Individuals must be 16 years or older by June 15th in order to be considered for employment. Contact the Recreation Department.

Sign ups for youth sports programs are handled by each individual program and usually held months in advance of the program; i.e., for Babe Ruth baseball, sign ups are held in the Fall for the ensuing Spring.
