The Town of Braintree hereby solicits bids for Town-wide maintenance of stormwater control measures (SCMs), including rain gardens, bioretention systems, drainage structures, infiltration basins, etc. Detailed specifications are available online on the Town of Braintree’s website, http://www.braintreema.gov/Bids.aspx . This site is the only site for prospective bidders to obtain digital copies of official Town bid documents and/or information.

All questions regarding this bid should be directed to Hillary Waite, Stormwater Manager, by email to . Questions will be accepted until February 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM, and answers to any questions will be posted on website by end of business on March 3, 2026.

Should bidders wish to visit sites, bidders should contact Paulina Curtin, Assistant Stormwater Manager, by email at to coordinate access. Site visits will be facilitated only until March 3, 2026. 

Proposals must be submitted on the prescribed forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the bidder's name and address and "Bid for Braintree Stormwater –  SCM Maintenance, Contract SW26-01.” and addressed to Braintree DPW, Town of Braintree, 85 Quincy Avenue, Braintree, MA 02184.

Bids shall be due on March 11, 2026 at 11:00 at the Engineering Office, on the bottom floor of the Water and Sewer building located at 85 Quincy Avenue, Braintree, MA 02184 at which time bids will be opened and read aloud.
