[ARCHIVED] No Parking Notice

No Parking Logo

As part of Mayor Sullivan’s ongoing “100 Roads Project”, The Braintree DPW will begin treating your street the week of APRIL 23, 2018. The first phase of the treatment is to put down a leveling course of pavement. The leveling will be completed in a day followed by several days of casting adjustment.

The paving contractor, T. L. Edwards, Inc. will be working between the hours of 7AM and 4PM. There may be short disruptions and delays to vehicular access during the paving operation. Once your street is leveled the surface can be driven on within a half hour or so.

Please make arrangements to have all parked vehicles off the street before      7AM. No parking is only in effect until your street is leveled.

Any vehicle parked on the street during construction will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The second phase of the treatment is to put down a micro-surface on top of the leveling course. Residents will receive another notification before this phase is scheduled to begin. All work will be completed by this summer.

Please be aware, this project is completed in phases by separate contractors and contains 15 separate streets. When you do not see a contractor working in your neighborhood they are working on other streets in Braintree.

Again we ask for your patience and understanding.
