On Monday, May 30th - Memorial Day, all non-emergency Town buildings will be closed. Additionally, trash and recycling curbside pick-up will be delayed by one day.
The Town of Braintree will hold its Memorial Day observance on Sunday, May 28th at 11am. The observance will be held at the Blue Hill Cemetery in the Garden of Honor, thanks to the generosity of the Ridge Family. I would like to extend an invitation to all of our residents who are able to attend our Memorial Day service to recognize and remember the brave men and woman who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.
On Saturday, May 27th, Norfolk County Sheriff Patrick McDermott is hosting the “Flags of our Families” tribute to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our country. The event will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office’s Public Safety complex at 2015 Washington Street.
In addition, I will be hosting a Community Meeting along with our legislative delegation to update residents on the Clean Harbors facility at the East Middle School Auditorium, 305 River Street, On Monday, June 5th at 7:30pm
