On Saturday, July 22nd the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
On Sunday, July 23rd the K9 Kitt Foundation will be hosting Cornhole for Kitt on French’s Common at 1 JFK Memorial Drive from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Come enjoy the many activities while supporting such a great cause.
On Tuesday, July 25th we will be holding our fourth Summer Concert of the season at Sunset Lake from 6pm to 8pm. Marc Berger will be performing Americana, Folk, and Roots music.
On Wednesday, July 26 we will be holding our annual “Kids Day” from 10am-2pm on French’s Common next to Braintree Town Hall at 1 JFK Memorial Drive. The day includes entertainment with inflatable bounce houses and games with prizes. A free lunch of a hot dog or hamburger followed by ice cream will be provided to all attendees. For the first time Kids Day will begin with a sensory friendly hour. While all games and inflatables attractions will open at 10am there will be no announcements or music played until 11am. In the event of inclement weather Kids’ Day will be held on Thursday, July 27th from 10am-Noon. Residents with questions are welcome to call the recreation office at 781-794-8901.
