The Farmer’s Market will not open at Town Hall on Saturday due to the inclement weather forecast.
On Saturday, September 16th the Braintree Craft and Vendor Market will be held inside 74 Pond Street from 11 am to 3 pm.
On Saturday, September 16th the Thayer Public Library is presenting the first program in its new 2023 Concert Series from 3 pm to 4 pm in the Logan Auditorium. The event is free, featuring vocalist Donna Byrne and the Donna Byrne Quartet who are world class professional jazz musicians.
On Sunday September 17th, the 10th Annual Sprint For Super Saturday's 5k Run/Walk will begin at 9:30 am at Town Hall. Registration starts at 8 am. All participants receive a free buffet at SouthSide Tavern after the race.
The Braintree Recreation Department has tickets remaining for their trip to the Red Sox game on Friday, September 22nd. The cost is $65 and includes round trip bus transportation from Braintree Town Hall. To register please call the recreation office at 781-794-8901 or log onto www.braintreerec.com.
