Tomorrow evening on Friday, October 20th the Braintree Recreation Department will be hosting a Halloween Movie Night beginning at 7pm at the Braintree Municipal Golf Course. The movie will be The Nightmare Before Christmas. Golf Course concessions will be available for purchase. The rain date will be next Friday, October 27th.
On Saturday, October 21st the Braintree Farmer’s Market will be open at Town Hall from 9am – 1pm rain or shine.
On Saturday, October 21st the Braintree Craft and Vendor Market will be hosting a Crafts and Treats Event at 74 Pond Street from 11am-3pm.
Also on, Saturday October 21st at 3pm the Thayer Public Library is hosting Four Bridges as part of the fall concert series. Four Bridges is an acoustic band performing Traditional and Contemporary Bluegrass.
On Sunday, October 22, 2023 the 6th Annual Kate's Run, a 5k in honor of Kate Phalon McCarthy, will take place beginning at Braintree High School. Registration is from 8am-9:30am the race begins at 10am. All proceeds go toward the Kate Phalon McCarthy Memorial Fund.
Additionally, the Braintree Health Department is holding its second walk-in seasonal flu clinic this Monday, October 23rd from 3pm to 7pm in Cahill Auditorium at Town Hall. The vaccination is free for individuals 18 years of age and older and for school aged children in grades 5 through 12. The vaccine will be administered on a first come first served basis.
