Raised Crosswalks


Raised crosswalks bring a crosswalk from street level to sidewalk level. The roadway slopes on each side to meet the raised crosswalk. Raised crosswalks improve visibility of pedestrians, reduce speeds, and eliminate ponding at curb ramps, which is especially beneficial for people with mobraised crosswalks examplesility and vision impairments.
