Administration

This department is responsible for the care and maintenance of all public buildings, facilities and vehicles, unless otherwise delegated to another department by statute or ordinance.

Engineering

The Engineering Division is engaged for the most part in planning, designing, administering and answering questions on the various Town-funded water, sewer, drainage and roadway improvement projects, on finding ways to get additional work done, and on improving efficiency through Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), etc.

Braintree Municipal Golf Course offers great golfing at some of the lowest and most competitive rates on the South Shore.

Highway & Grounds

Highway and Grounds Division’s functions include patching of pot holes, sidewalk repairs, catch basin cleaning and repairs, and more.

The Braintree Water and Sewer Department's primary mission is to maintain and improve the quality and reliability of the water and sewer systems in the Town of Braintree and to maintain the highest level of service at the lowest possible cost to the rate payers.
