This project was a continuation of efforts by the Morrison School community that included a terraced seating area, pergola entrance to the trails connecting to adjacent Pond Meadow Park, weather station and a bridge over wetlands along the Pond Meadow access trail. The Outdoor Classroom was designed and installed to accommodate 25-30 students and is adjacent to the 320-acre Pond Meadow Park. The Outdoor Classroom includes presentation area with natural seating (tree stumps and boulders); raised gardens, chimes and musical instruments; zip line; slide and working mechanical items such as lever and pulley.
